ShortlistAI

Privacy & data use

ShortlistAI helps recruiters process candidate information and make human-led hiring decisions. This page describes the product's current data-handling behavior at a high level.

Before uploading candidate data

Only upload candidate information you are authorized to process. Recruitment and employment data can be sensitive and may be subject to applicable privacy, employment and data-protection requirements.

What the product stores

The authenticated recruiter workspace stores workspace, role, candidate, uploaded-document and screening-result data needed to provide the service. Recruiter notes and shortlist actions are also stored so the workflow can persist.

How AI is used

AI is used to extract information from CVs and compare candidate information with role requirements. The product is designed to surface evidence, matches, gaps and explanations; it is not intended to make the final hiring decision on behalf of a recruiter.

Data control

The recruiter workspace provides a role-level action to clear candidate data, including stored document files where the platform can remove them. Customers should validate their required retention and deletion process before using production candidate data.

Demo data

The interactive product demo uses fictional candidate profiles. It does not upload or process visitor CV files.

Product stage

ShortlistAI is an early-stage product being validated with recruitment teams. Security, retention, compliance, model evaluation and operational controls are continuing to be hardened before broad production use.
